Education

Our general teaching goal is to educate students in the basic principles of metals and materials science and to create a basis for life-long learning. We provide teaching in the context of lecture courses, assignments, seminars and practical laboratory projects for both undergraduates and graduate students, who present their work in the form of supervised Semester, Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral Theses. We also organize excursions and advanced seminars in metals and materials research, often with the involvement of external experts working in a metals-related field.
